“I was initially recommended to Jacquie to assist with a nagging sciatica issue. After narrowly escaping the surgeons’ knife, Jacquie has certainly helped enormously and the sciatica is no longer a significant issue.
Furthermore, as a relatively keen golfer, the pilates, as instructed by Jacquie, has had a great influence on my golfing success. There is an endless stream of willing golf professionals (and amateurs!) available to assist with the technical aspects of the game of golf, but if the body isn’t flexible, there is nothing to help the core (pun intended) issue of golf: swing.
Additionally, a stronger body without flexibility is like bricks without mortar! Pilates is clearly a driving force behind improvements in very many sports and Jacquies’ skill in adapting her vast knowledge of pilates to specific sporting needs is exemplary.
The improvements to my golf ability have been significant, but benefits to general demeanour cannot be overstated: after each session one feels that bit taller and stronger and recently playing golf 18 times in a three week period was entirely manageable to a person the ‘wrong’ side of 50.
Jacquie, many thanks for all your help.”
